Ringolos!

When I was a kid, growing up in Ontario, Ringolos was a favourite snack of mine. I think I first had them at a rec centre, after a swimming or skating lesson from a vending machine. Later on we got them from Mac's Milk.. 3 bags (snack size) for .99 cents. They were fun to eat. You could put one on each finger like rings and then eat them. To my dismay, when my family moved to Vancouver, Ringolos were no where to be found. So five long years later, when I first went back to Ontario for University, Ringolos were one of the first things I looked for at the grocery store. To my surprise I not only found barbeque flavoured ringolos, but now there were ketchup and cheese flavoured rings too! (of course the original bbq flavour is still the best) Perhaps it's the memories it brings back from childhood, or just the crunchy 'barbeque goodness' of them, but these rings are still one of my favourite snacks.
PS - Unfortunately, now that I'm not in Ontario anymore, I can't just go and buy a bag whenever I have a craving. But at least EL is kind enough to bring back a bag whenever she comes back from Waterloo. =) Hmmm, anyone interested in starting a Ringolos shipping business? Maybe the Australians will like some too.

Hey! Don't forget to save some for me!
Hehe, don't worry.. I did. I hid a bag in your room cause otherwise I don't think it'd last. You can look for it when you get back. Lemme know if you don't find it =P
Boo, the first bag didn't even last a day. I opened it after lunch, then went to study the afternoon and by the time I came up they were all gone! =(
