Some things I'm keeping myself busy with besides school:
Netball - I joined the an intramural netball team here. For those who don't know, netball's like bball, but with no backboard, no dribbling, and zones to play in. I think it's more of a British game. I played on the highschool team one year back in grade 9, but all I remember is that it was pretty fun. The first game was quite interesting since I had to learn the rules again as I was playing. Whoops, did I obstruct someone again? =P
Teaching Piano - I'm teaching a guy in my class piano in exchange for free meals. Who knew piano would come in so handy! =) It's been awhile since I've done piano stuff. Trying to remember what I learned at the very beginning. Does anyone remember what those scales are called where your right/left hand split and go in opposite directions?
Tennis - I found a couple people here to play tennis with. Woohoo! One guy's actually quite good, so hopefully I can learn some proper technique to swings and serves and such.
Overseas Christian Fellowship - In some ways, this fellowship reminds me of UWCCF except perhaps back when it started out. They even have the same theme and theme verse as CCF a few years ago. I find myself comparing the 2 fellowships, what can be done better here, how things are run, etc.. but I suppose that's not the right attitude. Part of me thinks that I should help out, put to use what I've learned, etc.. but another part is still reluctant. I don't want to get caught up in just helping out and doing things and not having time to spend with people. And is it time for me to move on? To try something different? There's a a Medical Student's Association for Christians here which sounds interesting, and I've also been to the Curtin Christian Union which has more Aussies in it. Kind of weird sometimes, because everything's new again. It's like it's my second chance at University life... to be a frosh once again. Hmm, so let's see if I'm a bit wiser this time around =P
( I finally finished this blog.. started it almost a week ago)
Lots of things on my mind... more later...

Nice to see you're keeping yourself busy ^_^. I've never played netball although it sounds interesting, since there's no backboard does that mean all points have to be a swoosh? Yes, you should maintain your b-ball skills so we can have another match when you get back mawahaha. Becks Spalding is waiting.
Oh yeah for the piano opposite scale thing isn't it something like "contrary motion" or something like that.
Nice to finally see you updating your blog ;)
netball! that's what my mom keeps talking about!! well, at least the part about the net-with-no-backboard part... :)

Hey becks :)
The scales are called contrary motion when they simply go in opposite directions... The ones where your hands go up together, then split, then come together, split, etc., thats called formula pattern :) haha. I had to look it up to double check! Ah how my memory is getting lost.
Ah ha! That's what it is.. formula pattern scales. Thanks Mich!!
Anonymous =P - Well, it's not a swoosh since it hits the rim usually and rolls in...the awesome part is that the defender's not allowed to get within 3 feet. But yeah, definitely another match.. hehe, gotta reclaim Becks Spalding sometime! =)
