Christmas time

Darn, I had a whole post written up the other day, but the browser crashed before I could post it.

Well, it's one week left before Christmas and it's 30C out. One thing I've noticed, Christmas isn't as commercialised here it seems and I haven't heard any protests about calling it a 'holiday' and not 'Christmas' either. I went to a Carols by Candlelight outside. It an Aussie tradition as they seem to be held everywhere - have a picnic and sing some carols on a hot summers night. Oh, and look up the Australian version of Jingle Bells.. it's pretty funny.

Here's some pictures from the last 3 weeks.

Convention with OCF. It was a good time of learning, discussions, chats about other topics besides physio. How refreshing - things like the meaning of life, politics, the Christian worldview, faith. Here's my Bible Study Group:

Girls day out at Cottesloe Beach with Michelle (from Brisbane, in Perth for Convention) and Pam (a Torontonian!)

Touring Perth - the Canadians + Glenna at Kings Park. There were 6 of us and naturally since there were only 5 seatbelts.. guess where the 6th perseon was? The boot! (ie. trunk) Wow, never seen someone so willing/eager to ride in the trunk before.

Decorating our house with Kristie. Put up a tree, some stars, stockings. She really likes snowmen - look it's even a snowmen nativity scene!
