Speed Bumps

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm jinxed.. It's been a long road to becoming a physio and I'm still coming across some speed bumps. My time since graduating has gone something like this in a nutshell:

May - Finish the physio course in Perth
Nov - Write the Canadian written exam (missed the Sept one due to lost transcripts)
Dec - Find out I passed my exam
Jan - Interviews and receive my first job offer
Feb. Week 1 - First week orientating to the hospital, waiting for my Interim License
Week 1 Friday - Notified that I have my license, see my first 2 patients on my own
Week 1 Sat. - Snowboarding at Whistler, I take a tumble and hurt my shoulder
Week 2 and 3- Off work due to my shoulder
Week 4 - On graduated return to work, 4 hrs/day
March Week 1 - 6 hrs/day
March Week 2 - Full time
March Week 3 - Off Sick

pa·tience
1.the quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like.
2.an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay

I must admit that I've become a bit restless, and patience is something I can work on. Perhaps there's a lesson to learn in all this. For now, I'll try to take things as they come since some things, or rather a lot of things, are out of my control.

Perhaps my setbacks were all in good timing as that meant I could help out at my mom's car shop. It just so happened that the week I injured my shoulder and this past week when I've been sick were times when the owner was away. Hmmm, does God have favourites? I think He's been looking out for my mom. =)
